Christmas at Knockreer

Christmas at Knockreer

Santa Claus, his helpers and of course Rudolf the Red-nosed RED Deer are coming to Knockreer from Mon 2nd to Fri 20th December

Bring your class along to learn about the links and significance of many of our animals and plants and Christmas.  This will be done through an interactive powerpoint presentation.

The pupils will be taken on a Christmas Nature Hunt through the sheltered woodland of the demesne, where Rudolf has left some clues to help the pupils find Santa’s’ Grotto and the man himself (and if you’re really lucky you may catch a sighting of Rudolf in the flesh!).

Each child will have the chance to meet Santa and have a chat with him and then watch a short Christmas movie while enjoying a mug of hot chocolate and some biscuits before heading away.

This Special Christmas Nature Programme is geared towards ALL primary school CLASSES.  It will be run twice daily, 1st Session: 10am to 12am; 2nd Session 12.30pm-2.30pm.  The cost per pupil is €7 or €6 if booked before 29th Nov.

Booking is essential, please phone 064 35960 and on the day, don’t forget to bring coats, hats scarves and wellies just in case!
