*****NOTICE: Access to National Parks & Nature Reserves*****   Ireland’s National Parks and Nature Reserves remain accessible to the public and have seen an upsurge in visitors in recent days.  While the Parks and Reserves remain open, visitor centres and information points are closed on foot of Government measures to combat the spread of Covid-19. The National Parks and Wildllife Service (NPWS) would like to encourage continued enjoyment of these wonderful outdoor resources, but would also like to remind the public of the importance of adhering to current Health Service Executive (HSE) advice, particularly in relation to social distancing.     Environmental Easter & Summer Camps for 7 to 12 year olds They will include mammal trapping, pond dipping, scavenger hunts, den building and a variety of ecologically themed games. They will run from: 14th April – 17th April (Easter Camp) Tues June 30th – Fri July 3rd Tues July 14th – Fri July 17th Tues Aug 4th – Fri Aug 7th Junior Ranger Camps (Residential) –  staying over for two nights in our own hostel Watching Badgers, doing bat walks, moth trapping, camp fire, bug hunts and much, much more!
